Proposed Amendment Changes to the CC&R’s
Thank you to those of you who voted on the proposed amendment changes to the CC&R’s. As a quick summary, last year we surveyed residents to see which neighborhood issues were most important to them and as a result of that survey we proposed 5 amendments to our current CC&R’s.
Those 5 proposals included:
-Limiting rentals
-Maintaining access to fire hydrants
-Restricting parking on the streets
-Maintaining lamp posts lit from dusk through dawn
-Restricting the parking of commercial vehicles
Restricting the parking of trailers, boats, motorhomes and campers In order for any modification to be made to our CC&R’s it requires 2/3 of properties to vote in favor of doing so. After our recent voting 3 of these proposals received the required vote and therefore passed:
-Limiting rentals
-Maintaining access to fire hydrants
-Maintaining lamp posts lit from dusk through dawn The next step is for our attorney to revise our CC&R’s with these changes and have them notarized. At that point these changes will become officially part of our CC&R’s.
