Meeting Update:
Well, our Annual Homeowners Meeting went off without a hitch!! Thanks to all that organized and came out to the meeting and thanks to those who gave your proxy to a neighbor/friend. We had plenty of folks in attendance and proxy's to make our needed quorum!!
Congratulations go out to our NEW board members!! Board positions have been determined and are as follows:
President- Owen Parker
Vice President- Todd Sussman
Secretary- Chris Uhl
Treasurer- Ron Bates
Members- Rocky Nance and Jennifer Williamson
A few things that were discussed:
Deputy Chad Sloop came out once again to address area concerns. He reminds us to ALWAYS lock your doors, sheds and cars and NEVER leave valuables in the car overnight. Keep garage doors closed when ever possible so not to attract "would be" thieves from stealing items of value (golf clubs, mowers, tools etc..) and as always, use common sense!!
If you ever see anything suspicious ALWAYS call 911. Try to get the make/model/tag # of cars and description of suspicious person in question. The more information they have, the better!!
Speeding is still an issue here in the neighborhood. Slow down or you may be ticketed soon ;o)
If anyone is interested in starting a Crime Watch program, Sara Price would be our "go to" person. She can be reached through our area representative Sgt. Tessa Burchett. Contact the BOD if interested in setting up a Crime Watch program.
Landscape Committee will be planting the community garden once again and looking at mid-late April. If interested in helping out contact Anna Dollar. There will NOT be a Pine Straw order this Spring but will happen again in the Fall. If you are interested in ordering a Charm Lite conversion kit, please contact the Landscape Committee and finally there will be another Morrison Road clean up day (likely scheduled for June) so keep your eye's open for that date once its finalized to help out. A HUGE thanks to those who helped clean up on March 3rd!!
Please welcome our NEW Pool Committee!! Mike Neely and Phyllis Mendo have offered to Co-Chair this committee along with new members Kevin Mendo and David Werts. Thank you for stepping up for this committee!! I guess that means we can officially pull out that summer thong for another fun filled season at the pool :o)
Social Committee will be updating their calendar of event and next events will include Easter Egg Hunt (Sunday April 1st) and Bingo (date TBD). All proceeds from Bingo will go back to our reserve funds to help our community SO please come out, bring your friends and have some fun with neighbors. If there are any NEW residents that would like a "Welcome Packet" please contact Jennifer Williamson. If you are selling your house and would like a welcome packet for your signed buyers, please contact Jennifer so they can have a packet waiting for them upon move in time.

Thank You!!
